My children immediately engage with the magazine when it arrives and they always find something new and intriguing within the pages. As the parent, I love that the information is developmentally appropriate and allows for us to engage in meaningful discussions about difficult topics in history. The art continues to be amazing, and the topics are relevant to both my 3rd and 5th grader. Thank you for a wonderful magazine!

From a third grade teacher: this is real history, backed by scholarship, but in language and length that makes it accessible for younger children without being too boring or simple for older kids. I love the variety of activities, too!

Honestly, as a teacher, these books are incredible. They are accessible, entertaining, and objective. I think they can really inspire students of all ages.

Loved the impartial and factual presentation of history without biased commentary. I read this as well and appreciated the clear history. I also appreciate the thought provoking questions at the end that were not leading questions. Instead asking “what do both sides have in common?” Or “who do you think it would be harder to be?” I loved seeing my child read this while asking questions and coming up with her own conclusions based on reality.
