My 6-year-old (and now her 3-year-old sister) is hooked on Honest History podcasts and won't stop asking for it every time we get in the car. She loves learning stories about history, like how London's first sewer system was built, the time Boston flooded with molasses, Lewis Latimer's great lightbulb idea, Napoleon's very cold Russian winter, and more. The stories are appropriate for kids and eye opening. They open up discussions about the importance and value of acquiring skills at school and learning lessons from history. We're so glad that this entertaining, fun podcast exists. Before we started listening, I read on Reddit that some users were skeptical that history lessons could be unbiased. I would hazard that this podcast is about as unbiased as you can get, and mostly focuses on fun stories that happened in the past like above. The magazine is beautifully and impeccably illustrated. I'm so glad that we have a resource like this to get kids interested in learning and learning about history and science.
