It's that time again! Brooke, our editor-in-chief, is answering your mail for our fourth installment of We've Got Mail. You can check out our first, second, and third volumes to read more. We are always amazed by our young historians' brilliant suggestions and questions.
What a wonderful idea! Covering Star Wars would definitely be an interesting topic! While we do not have concrete plans to cover that incredible story this year, you can always check out Honest History's Issue 5 | The Race to Space to learn more about rockets and how we got people to the moon. Thanks for writing and I hope you are enjoying Honest History!
I’m so thrilled to know that you’ve enjoyed A Native Story! I also appreciate your suggestion that we add more people to the “People You Should Know” section. We have gone back and forth with having a few people mentioned and only having two. In the end, we like having two so we have enough space to tell each person’s story in as much detail as possible. If you want to learn more about amazing Native people in North America, be sure to check out your local library and speak with your librarian! I’m sure they would be more than happy to help!
What a terrific suggestion! I love gardening and would also be interested in learning more about horticulture (the study of how plants grow) and how it has changed over time. Thanks for writing in!
Hi Young Historians—do you have any questions about our kids magazine? Is there a topic you want us to cover? Please send us a note (or drawing). It might appear on our next installment of We've Got Mail. And, as always, happy reading!
