My kids are magazine heads (is that a thing?). They love to read anything that they can that comes in magazine format. Honest history was an instant win because of this.

The Building America issue was perfect to help round out our learning about the creation of America unit.

We really liked it! There are several that fit right in along what they're learning in class and I really appreciate how they are culturally conscious. I haven't seen any Eurocentric wording or limited perspectives.
