The Honest History journals are beautiful to look at, very engaging, and filled with the kind of history that kids should know. I'm a historian, and I was looking for something that would hook my kid on history (because my monographs definitely won't!). I would have loved these as a child, and maybe if I'd had them I wouldn't have made the perilous mistake of majoring in comparative literature. :)

I love this project, my daughter got excited when she sees her package. We enjoyed reading and learning together.

My third grader is SO excited to pick out her issues every quarter. No matter the theme she dives into them and we have such fun conversations about the articles. I highly recommend this magazine for a child in your life.
