A history lesson we have fun with and I can rely on to tell the story as it needs to be told, not hiding any ugly truths or changing important factors to be cute and friendly, but real, honey history. We love you guys, love having this in our curriculum rotation.

We have only received one magazine so far, but the content is fun and engaging. My eight year old is reading it to their younger sibling. The article on the guillotine sparked a lively conversation among the whole family and dramatic reenactments!

My 6yr old and I sit in the car reading at least one story after picking the honest history magazine up from the mailbox! She is curious and the illustrations and stories are engaging. Last month she exclaimed “Wait! There are REAL princesses!?!!” In the African series.

We received the issue that focused on China! My kids, even the non readers, have enjoyed looking through and seeing the pictures and activities. My reader has looked through it several times and completed the activities too. We all have learned something! Nice format. Unfortunately I don't have the extra budget for this right now, but as we received the free trial issue and liked it, I am keeping it as an idea for a birthday gift for my oldest, his birthday is in the fall and he would enjoy receiving several issues over the year ahead of him.
