These magazines are excellent! I read them with my 9 and 7-year-olds to learn more about interesting times in history (the spy magazine has been a favorite). They're well written, the print quality is excellent (by far the best of any magazine I've ever read), and there is a great mix of longer form and shorter form content. I'm learning things and so are both of my kids. We love Honest History.
I decided to take a leap and get the first 3 volumes after reading a copy on Libby (local library app) and loving the content. It explains history as well as "hot topics" in a way my 6 year old can understand. It also helps me as a parent be able to talk about the subjects and help elaborate as deep as I desire, rather than having to skip over content in other history focused media that I may not feel ready to talk about with him. The illustration is beautiful and not too distracting. I highly recommend these magazines!
