I decided to take a leap and get the first 3 volumes after reading a copy on Libby (local library app) and loving the content. It explains history as well as "hot topics" in a way my 6 year old can understand. It also helps me as a parent be able to talk about the subjects and help elaborate as deep as I desire, rather than having to skip over content in other history focused media that I may not feel ready to talk about with him. The illustration is beautiful and not too distracting. I highly recommend these magazines!
