Our kids get so excited when new issues arrive. The magazine combines incredible design and illustrations with genuinely engaging content and thoughtful, high-quality curation. The history is broken down into bite-sized, digestible pieces and written in a tone that makes it easy for kids to understand without ever feeling watered down.

What I love most is how much it sparks curiosity. Our kids are constantly calling us over to share a fun fact or excitedly saying, “Did you know…?” and then launching into some new piece of history they just learned. It’s wonderful to see them not only enjoying history, but actively wanting to learn more about it.

I purchased a subscription for my grandson when he was much younger. He's a reader so I thought it was a good fit. At that time, he wasn't that excited about history because he was more into science, so even though the issues were read, I cancelled the subscription. A few years later, he reread the sturdy (booklet) issues and loved it! When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he asked for more Honest History, so I had him select six issues with subject matters that he was interested in. At age twelve he really enjoys learning about history. His younger sister also enjoys Honest History but she's more interested in anything horses. I expect her interests to also expand as she gets older.

My child actually reads these on his own. He has never enjoyed reading and always struggled. The graphics and presentation intrigued him and the information helped him. Great product.

These magazines are fantastic! I first saw them at our orthodontist and immediately went home and placed an order. My boys, 11 and 12, love them! There’s so much interesting information in them written in an accessible way for all ages. Plus, the illustration help keep their attention. I’ve learned a lot too and enjoy reading the magazines! I’ve already recommended them to friends.
