I'm writing this review on behalf of my 7 year old son, Felix, who has been reading Honest History magazine for the last year or two. He's expressed interest in history, cultures and other social sciences from a young age, so I was thrilled when I found this magazine as a way for him to indulge in his interest AND practice his reading. From the first issue he received, it became clear to me that this was an incredibly thoughtful and expertly crafted publication. The ability to create educational material that is nonetheless supremely entertaining and intellectually stimulating to children of different ages is no small feat, and I'm constantly impressed by the editorial and creative team's ability to do so with every issue, and about a variety of topics. I'm beyond happy with my decision to subscribe to this publication for my son and plan to continue as a subscriber for as long as my son (and hopefully also my daughter, soon turning 4 but a little less curious about history... perhaps a Polynesian issue to help connect to her love of Moana? lol) continues to read and re-read his existing issues. Thank you for the wonderful work... I believe every household with children, and every school library for that matter, should have access to Honest History.
