Dear Jordan,
Thanks for sending us a postcard! I’m so thrilled to hear you are enjoying the magazine and the “Thinking it Over” questions. Thinking about and questioning history is an important way for us to better understand the past, and it sounds like you are doing a great job! Keep up the good work.
Happy Reading!

Dear Finn,
First, I want to compliment you on your terrific penmanship! Nice work! Second, I love the idea of doing a magazine on baseball. My own kids play “America’s pastime” (that’s a nickname for baseball) and, like many kids, would enjoy learning more about the history of the sport. Thanks for the great suggestion! I hope you enjoy the next issue of Honest History and continue your journey in exploring the past.
Happy Reading!

Dear Oliver,
What a terrific idea to do an Honest History on the Musketeers! It sounds like you have done a lot of research on the subject and I appreciate you teaching me more about it. I had no idea D’Artagnan was a real person and I’m excited to do more research and learn about his life. Thanks for writing in and I hope you send in more thoughtful and well-researched ideas on what we should cover next.
Happy Reading!

Dear Evie,
Thank you for your letter. It brings me so much joy to hear that you want to be a historian when you grow up. What an amazing career to aspire to! You will be happy to know that we already have an issue on the history of India! Issue 10, "A Portrait of India," is all about the partition of India, queens, and fun bits of history to get you excited about learning this country’s history. Please let me know if you get that issue and what you learned!
Happy Reading!
