Dear William,
Thanks for writing in! I, too, love the medieval period and think this is an excellent suggestion. We have a fun issue coming out in 2027 that will have a slight medieval theme, so be sure to keep your eye out! I hope you enjoy this next issue of Honest History. Happy reading!

Hi Cali,
I love that you are interested in learning more about professional gymnastics. The Olympic Games have been around for quite some time, and I’m not sure when gymnastics first became an Olympic sport. It is definitely worth looking into, and I will run this great idea by my team of writers. Thanks so much for writing in, and I hope you continue to enjoy learning about the past through Honest History.

Hi Raf,
I love the idea of an Honest History issue about the Cretaceous period! Of course, Herbert and Wells would be included, although I’m not sure how much fun they would have traveling back in time, where they would look like a lovely snack to a big T-Rex. I also really love your drawing on the postcard. You are a great artist! Keep your eyes out for future issues of Honest History. Who knows, maybe your request will come true!

Dear Clara,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful (and colorful) letter! Getting mail like this truly makes my day! We started Honest History with one mission in mind: to get kids excited about learning about the past. Your passion for learning is contagious, and I hope everyone around you gets fired up about reading and learning more about stories from history because they see your excitement. Keep up the amazing work, Clara! You are a true young historian!
Young Historians! Do you have questions about our kids magazine? Is there a topic you want us to cover? Please send us a note (or drawing). It might appear on our next installment of We've Got Mail.
