We've Got Mail: Volume 30

It's our 30th installment of We've Got Mail! Brooke Knight, our Editor-in-Chief, is replying to all our readers' questions and suggestions. We always love hearing from young historians, so please keep sending us postcards!

If you want to see if we've already replied to your letter, make sure to check our blog. Here's one of our latest volumes of We've Got Mail to get you started.

Dear Christian,

I love the idea of doing an Honest History on disasters! In fact, historical disasters are some of our most requested topics. From Pompeii to the RMS Titanic, kids have always been fascinated by the catastrophes of the past. Thanks for the suggestion, and I hope you enjoy the next issue of Honest History magazine!

Hi Charlotte,

Thank you for the letter and suggestion. We strive to cover all sides of history, including women, in each issue of the magazine. Women have always played an important role in history and, as a company run mostly by women, we love telling the truthful stories of women who have shaped the world.

We appreciate your suggestion and hope you continue to enjoy Honest History magazine. If you haven't already, be sure to check out our podcasts, Unlock This! and Anytime Now.

Dear Willa,

Thanks for the postcard! I’m so happy you are liking the books, magazines, and podcasts! We put so much love into everything we do at Honest History, and I’m glad you are having fun while learning. I also appreciate your suggestion to cover P.T. Barnum. He certainly lived a fascinating life, and I think our readers would love to learn his story. Keep on learning, and thanks again for writing to us.

Dear Maddie,

I’m so happy you are enjoying the Herbert and Wells comic! Our lead historian, Heidi, is the genius behind the comic, and I think she does an amazing job bringing those characters to life.

Thanks for the recommendation to cover extreme weather! History is full of terrifying weather phenomena, and I think many of our readers would love an Honest History on this subject.

Young Historians! Do you have questions about our kids magazine? Is there a topic you want us to cover? Please send us a note (or drawing). It might appear on our next installment of We've Got Mail.
