Dear Eleanor,
I’m so happy to hear you keep returning to your Honest History magazines! Do you have a favorite topic or edition of the magazine? Thanks for the suggestion of covering religion. There are so many fascinating religions around the world, and I think it helps kids have a better understanding of history when they understand the different religions of each country or part of the world. Thanks for writing in, and I hope you enjoy the next edition of Honest History.

Hi Vivienne,
I’m thrilled to hear that you recently learned about Indigenous history and got the chance to see a video of professional Jingle Dancers. What a treat! I love your suggestion of covering Mexican history, and I promise it is something our team has been looking into! Thanks for writing to us, and I hope you keep up the great learning!

Hi Ashwin,
What a great topic suggestion! One of the things we love about history is that every topic has a history, including strategy! Strategy, especially in war, has changed dramatically over time, and I think it’s a topic many kids would find interesting. Thanks for writing in and please be sure to let us know if there is a specific type of strategy you would like to learn more about.

Hi Alex,
I love your suggestions about writing about the Hindenburg or the RMS Titanic. The Hindenburg is a tragedy that I don’t think many kids are as aware of, so I think that would be a great topic to start with. While historians now know a great deal about the sinking of the Titanic, new information is always becoming available and sparking new interest for kids and adults. Thanks for these terrific suggestions!
Young Historians! Do you have questions about our kids magazine? Is there a topic you want us to cover? Please send us a note (or drawing). It might appear on our next installment of We've Got Mail.Â
