We've Got Mail: Volume 25

It's our 25th installment of We've Got Mail! Brooke Knight, our Editor-in-Chief, is replying to all our readers' questions and suggestions. We always love hearing from young historians, so please keep sending us postcards!

If you want to see if we've already replied to your letter, make sure to check our blog. Here's one of our latest volumes of We've Got Mail to get you started.

Dear Clare,

I think it is amazing that you want to be a paleontologist! What an exciting and rewarding career to aspire to. We would love to do an edition of Honest History about dinosaurs and have considered doing one many times. I will be sure to let the team know we have an aspiring paleontologist asking for an issue on dinosaurs.

Keep up the dino research!

Hi Vicky,

Excellent suggestion! I love learning about Queen Victoria and think she and Prince Albert lived a fascinating life and did amazing things for the world. I’ll be sure to add Queen Victoria to our list of possible Honest History editions.

Hi Will,

Wonderful suggestion, and one I think you probably know a lot about already! Travel along the Silk Road is a fascinating time in history and one that is often overlooked or not gone into with a lot of depth. I think all our readers (kids and adults) would benefit more from learning about this important part of World History.

Thanks for reading Honest History, and feel free to share more Silk Road facts in a postcard or email.

Hi Harrison,

Mexico would make a lovely edition of Honest History. I’ve visited Mexico several times throughout my life and am always amazed by the rich culture and history. I will add Mexico to our list of possible future issues of the magazine. Thanks for writing in, and I hope you enjoy the next edition of Honest History.

Young Historians! Do you have questions about our kids magazine? Is there a topic you want us to cover? Please send us a note (or drawing). It might appear on our next installment of We've Got Mail. And, as always, happy reading!
