We've Got Mail: Volume 23

Welcome to our 23rd installment of We've Got Mail! Brooke Knight, our Editor-in-Chief, is replying to all our readers' questions and suggestions. We always love hearing from young historians, so please keep sending us postcards!

If you want to see if we've already replied to your letter, make sure to check our blog. Here's one of our latest volumes of We've Got Mail to get you started.

Postcard from Aleksandra

Dear Aleksandra,

Thank you for writing to us! I love your suggestion about covering Bulgarian history. I visited Bulgaria when I was a child and loved learning about the country’s rich history. I will be sure to suggest it to the rest of the team!

Postcard from Caroline

Dear Caroline,

I’m so thrilled to hear that you love our magazine! I too loved learning about history as a kid, and it is one of the reasons I decided to start Honest History. I think covering the history of the oceans is a terrific idea, especially since there is so much we could cover! Thank you for the great suggestion.

Postcard from Arthur

Hi Arthur,

Thank you for writing to us. A history of toys would be a really fun topic for the magazine! In the meantime, be sure to check out our podcast episode on the history of Legos on Unlock This! Anna, Leo, and Percy learn all about the history of Legos’ founder and how our favorite building toys came to be.

Postcard from Margaret

Hi Margaret,

Thank you for your postcard. I’m so happy you like the Herbert and Wells comic! Our historian, Heidi Corburn, draws and comes up with the comic, so I will be sure to let her know how much you love it. I also love the suggestion of covering the history of fiber arts. So many cultures use fiber art as a way to hold onto their culture and heritage, and I think it would make a really fun topic for the magazine.

Young Historians! Do you have questions about our kids magazine? Is there a topic you want us to cover? Please send us a note (or drawing). It might appear on our next installment of We've Got Mail. And, as always, happy reading!
