We've Got Mail: Volume 22

Welcome to our 22nd installment of We've Got Mail! Brooke Knight, our Editor-in-Chief, is back replying to all our readers' questions and suggestions. We always love hearing from young historians, so please keep sending us postcards!

If you want to see if we've already replied to your letter, make sure to check our blog. Here's one of our latest volumes of We've Got Mail to get you started.

Postcard from Claudia

Hi Claudia,

Thanks for your letter. So many of our readers have requested an issue on RMS Titanic, so you are not alone! We always appreciate hearing what our readers want to learn about, and love getting your postcards. Thanks for writing in, and I hope you are enjoying the current issue of Honest History.

Postcard from Katie

Hi Kate,

Thanks for your postcard. You are in luck, because we have an entire issue of Honest History all about ancient Greece! Issue 17 | An Age of Legends covers Greek gods, the Iliad, and famous men and women who made history. Check it out when you get a chance, and be sure to write me a postcard letting me know what you learned!

Postcard from Harvey

Dear Harvey,

Thanks for writing in! The team at Honest History loves learning about explorers, and Ernest Shackleton certainly played a role in polar exploration. I will be sure to add him to the list, but in the meantime, be sure to check out our episode about him on our podcast Unlock This! And if you like learning about polar exploration, there's an episode about Matthew Henson on our other podcast Anytime Now. Mr. Henson was an incredible polar explorer, and I think you will enjoy learning about him.

Postcard from Tula

Dear Tula,

I’m so happy to hear you are enjoying the magazine! They are a joy to make, and I always learn something new. I love the idea of having an issue about the Alaska Gold Rush or the Oregon Trail. Both events had a profound impact on U.S. history and are important for kids (and adults) to learn about!

Thanks for the suggestion, and I hope you enjoy the next issue of Honest History.

Young Historians! Do you have questions about our kids magazine? Is there a topic you want us to cover? Please send us a note (or drawing). It might appear on our next installment of We've Got Mail. And, as always, happy reading!
